Trial HSC exams (Year 12)

Student Instructions:

• All examinations, unless noted otherwise, will be held in the HALL.
• Students should go to the hall at the start of the allocated period.
• If students don’t have an examination, they should go to their normal timetabled period.
• Students will not be permitted to leave an examination early.
• Students absent from any examination are to follow the assessment procedures for missed assessment tasks.
• Mobile phones or other electronic communications/listening devices must not be taken into the examination room.
• Programmable or smart watches must not be taken into the examination room.
• Students may only take approved equipment into the examination room. This should be in a clear plastic bag.
• Approved equipment does NOT include correction fluid or correction tape.
• It is the responsibility of the students to supply equipment that is in good working order. This includes calculators.
• Students are expected to follow the instructions of teachers in the examination rooms
• Students should be respectful towards other students in the examination room. This includes not speaking to other students and not distracting other students.

Students can bring the following items into exams:

• black pens (no pens with ink that can be erased)
• pencils (must be at least 2B), erasers and a sharpener
• a ruler marked in millimetres and centimetres
• highlighter pens
• a clear bottle of water with no label
• a watch (not a programmable or smart watch).

QUESTION PAPERS, WRITTEN ANSWERS AND WRITING PADS MUST BE LEFT BEHIND IN THE EXAMINATION ROOM.
