Beloved teacher and MRHS institution Mr Thompson, known affectionately as Thommo, is going all in for World’s Greatest Shave. Not only is he dying his hair, he’s getting it shaved off live on the radio.
Before work today, Thommo headed over to TAFE where hairdressing students Isabella Arcifa and Rosabella Virgara were delighted to bleach and dye his hair. The students decided on a tasteful mix of purple, red, green and orange for Thommo’s new look.
Like a number of other teachers and students from MRHS, Mr Thompson will have his head shaved on Friday. The difference being, Thommo will have his head shaved live on the air on Triple M Riverina MIA 963, so be sure to tune in.
The World’s Greatest Shave is an initiative from the Cancer Council of Australia and has been organised at MRHS by the SRC. Participants are sponsored to shave, dye or wax their hair to raise money and awareness for cancer. You can donate to the MRHS World’s Greatest Shave fund here.
