Our Year 11 Agriculture class recently partnered with Western Riverina Community College for an exciting visit to Bryan and Carolyn Dossetor's mixed enterprise farm in Benerembah, near Griffith.
This marks the seventh time our school has visited the Dossetor farm. During the visit, students gathered valuable information about the farm's daily and yearly operations. One of the highlights was the introduction of new technological advancements, including an innovative sheep handling machine.
Prior to the visit, students utilised satellite technology to create a comprehensive map of the entire farm using AgriWebb. The students are now finalising their assessment task, which includes calculating the gross margin for both plant and animal enterprises.
Murrumbidgee Regional High School-Griffith would like to extend our gratitude to the Dossetor family for once again showcasing their mixed farming operation, and to Brenda McKinnon from WRCC for facilitating this collaborative excursion.
