Tuesday was an incredible day at the Riverina Swimming Carnival! A huge congratulations to the 35 schools that competed, with MRHS Griffith proudly represented by 11 talented swimmers. The competition was fierce, but our swimmers showed amazing resilience and a never-give-up attitude throughout the day. Collectively, we swam in 19 events and achieved an impressive 12 personal best times, showcasing the hard work and dedication put in by our swimmers.
A special shoutout to Addison Cowie, Clare Doubleday and Lane Stewart, who will be heading to the NSWCHS Swimming State Championships in Sydney during Week 10 to compete in individual events. And let's not forget the outstanding performance of our Open Boys Relay team, made up of Darby Robertson, Ben Williment, Harry Furner, and Lane Stewart, who will also be making their way to Sydney to represent Murrumbidgee in the Open Boys 200 Free relay event. We are so proud of every swimmer who took part and gave it their all.
