Five of our MRHS ALEC girls had the amazing opportunity to travel to Hillston Central School for a special day of learning and sharing Aboriginal cultural with Hillston students and community.
The girls were introduced to the beautiful art of basket weaving, gaining a deep appreciation for the skill, patience, and cultural significance it holds. While learning new techniques, they also had the chance to make new friends and for some, reconnect with family.
A big thank you to Mrs. Taipaleti for the kind invitation and for making this experience possible.
