Danika Shapes Future of NSW Arts Education

Danika Arts Program

We’re proud to share that Danika Broome has been selected to be part of a unique and inspiring group of First Nations students who will help shape the future of creative arts education in NSW!

Danika joined students from across the state at the Western Sydney Aboriginal Centre for Excellence Kimberwalli, as part of a First Nations Student Advisory Group. This group plays a vital role in advising The Arts Unit on events, policies, and programs ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are central to the design and implementation of creative arts initiatives.

“This is an amazing experience to share stories, ideas, and culture and elevate student voice in the arts,” explains Danika, “I am excited to see the outcomes of the ideas that were workshopped today.”

The advisory group will now meet fortnightly to implement their ideas. Stayed tuned as Danika and her peers lead the way!

We can’t wait to see what this amazing group accomplishes.
