Cows Create Careers Get Creative

As part of the 2024 Cows Creates Careers Initiative, Year 9 Agriculture and Photography took happy snaps of the school’s two new calves.

The photographer’s muses, Nickel and Charlie, were somewhat camera shy, making the assessment all the more challenging. It certainly put the photographers’ knowledge of shutter speed, aperture, ISO and composition to the test.

There are a number of activities linked with the Cows Create Careers initiative, but perhaps the most appealing to our Year 9s was the $2000 national prize for most creative photo.

Mr. Chirgwin would like to thank Ms. Vidler and her class for their help capturing the creative side of animal husbandry.
